Was out looking for a 93 hatch to pick up but was having no luck. I found this yellow 96 coupe instead. Picked her up for 2k with 140,xxx bone stock besides the black hood. I had some 17's laying around so I threw them on the car.. Haven't seen to many good looking yellow cars so any suggestions on what I should do with teh car? The first thing i'm going to do is lower it. I hate how high it sits right now

Slam it.
Paint the grill black like it used to be.
Lip
Swap in a DOHC.


Other than that it looks pretty clean for 2k.

imo:

1. repaint the upper grill and lower grill black as they should have been.
2. paint your sideskirts
3. lower it
4. front lip
5. ctr headlights
6. motor work, ect...

get it as back to stock as possible then begin modifying it

 

It needs a black lip, a black grill, 16" wheels, and a significant drop.

 

Get some CTR mirrors.

Than do the rest from what other people are saying.

 

Not really diggin the yellow, but if you like it, I say do the bumblebee theme. All black wheels, lip, mirrors, side moldings, black housing headlights, grill.

 

I'm not really a fan of the yellow but it has grown on me a little.. I would love to paint the car black but thats out of the question as I don't have the money to afford a good paint job.

Painting the grill.. are you referring to the upper grill, lower grill, or both? I'm lowering it in a few weeks.. definitely looking for some 15's or 16's .. any good looking, clean front lips?

 

As everyone else has said, do the inner lower grille flat black and get a CTR upper grille. That'll be a good start. After that just get it lowered on some nice wheels, maybe get some different mirrors and some CTR headlights and a lip and you'll be all set.

 

i hate yellow cars, umm maybe a paint change?
