jdm foglight switch on depo kit

Default jdm foglight switch on depo kit

does anyone know if theres a way to rewire the jdm foglight switch to work on the depo kit?

Well, yeah. It's a switch. It turns on and off. Just use your ohm meter to figure out what wire has 12 volts when the lights are on, which one is ground, and which one is the output. To figure out the output, plug the switch in and turn the lights on. Whichever one turned 12 volts that wasn't before, that's the wire going to the relay/fog lights.

but the depo kit has 4 wires running into the harness and the jdm one has 3 pigtail wires but it looks like there is an empty slot where another wire could go... wut should i do?

No, it doesn't. BUT, if you'd like to sell it and it works, I'm interested in it for my coupe. My coupe has Type K (dark grey) interior but my dang OEM Honda switch is lighter grey. It drives me crazy since it doesn't match.
