eg shocks and springs on a crx

i just found a nice set of red shocks with a black springs with some grey trim springs in a junk yard i know i have to use eg from forks on them, will they perform better than my stock 9 yrs old shocks and e-bay adjustable springs?!

i would have to say yes they would out perform some antique springs and shocks lol
