i'm not too happy with the new brembimbos. rotors are waaay too rusty, it's only 4 months old and it's looking like 3 years old. the old brembo's was good. it sucks cus their not made in ITALY anymore.
what other brakes are good? i might need to replace my drums and shoes soon.

Um, brakes are going to rust over time, it happens. As long as they are performing well, leave them be. Starting a thread like this just because of rust is not good.

I was referring to the sloughing off of material do to extreme heat and friction. All brakes get surface rust unless you live in Arizona, don't daily-drive it, and have an air-conditioned garage (AC = no moisture).
There is no coating you can put on brakes to make them not rust, because it would be detrimental to the ability to stop.

If you are worried about rust on your rotors the only thing you can do to prolong the process is to get them plated with Cadmium Yellow Chromate.

^^ haha... just have your friends set up throughout town with a jack and the proper tools to change a tire. You can make it like a NASCAR pit stop, but with the main focus of cleaning your rotors every few blocks
