My DD started acting up on me today. It feels like the E-Brake is up when it is down. The car is very hard to accelerate and the pedal has alot of play. It feels as if the rear drums are locked up. Any advice?

 

check out:
your e-brake cables to see if they are seized,
your drum star wheel adjusment,
and your brake fluid(contaminated or what not)

i think its your star wheel most likely since you have a low pedal

or the low pedal could be caused by a leak in your system.

I'd jack up each of your wheels and see which of your wheels is hanging up, as a precursor. Then you'll know whether it's a caliper or e-brake/drum. Jack it, in gear with the ebrake on. To check the front wheels take it out of gear and it should spin freely, to check rear leave it in gear and release your ebrake.

Then go from there.
