funny topic SI owners should enjoy.
I was on another fourum today and reading a guys question. he asked if his 07 Si could beat a v6 mustang. all the other members told him he could keep up with the older ones but would get "spanked" by the new ones. thought id share that with you all. 04-06 mustang 190hp and weighs 3400 lbs. I couldnt beleive my eyes when i read these responses.
i beat a new v6 mustang on the freeway starting at about 75 mph, i dropped from 6th to 4th and pulled on him hard, he pulled up to me later in the drive and rolled down his window and asked me if my 07 coupe si was turbo..... i said "no" and i mentioned that i was not only not turbo but i was almost completely stock besides my "cai" and he really made himself look kinda dumb... we continued to race down the freeway with no traffic of course and i beat him every time, he said he had a 06 mustang with a flowmaster exhaust
makes me feel really proud of my Si,those who
drive american cars think that they have this "obligation"
to run us guys who drive imports, more so if they drive a
V6 and the import has regular 4's on it.

And the million Civic drivers I see always challenging everything on the road are innocent I suppose? I can barely drive my car without someone, usually a kid in a riced out and banged up piece of crap, trying to challenge me. I see more import owners with an "obligation" starting crap then domestic V6 and V8 guys. But I will say that I have no respect for a V6 Mustang, Camaro, Charger etc. It's a waste of money if you ask me. V6 doesn't always mean better.
