so i have a d15b1 motor in my 91 ef hatch,
im looking to eventually boost the car,
but i wanted to kno how much horse could i make all motor if i just built this motor to the max??
would i be worth it?
please let me kno how much power i could make,

step one mpfi on it, dpi turbo is just to show off fabbing skills.

The motor is same as the others in the bottom end and guts, so really same as any other built D.

As far what #s you can make, it doesn't matter. #s are worthless. It's about how and where power is.

 

Power #s depends on how it's built and tuned, nobody could possibly tell you that without a built motor on a dyno.

If you're going to go all motor, start with a block with a longer stroke like a B18 or B20. Otherwise boost is your friend with the D15. It does sound like you need to research and see what's involved, all it sounds like you're after is a "fast car" IMO. Visit the All-motor and FI forums for more info.

 

You're in the same boat I was a few months back. It all sounds good in your head. Total different story when actually getting the money and doing the work. I converted to MPFI and added a DC header and am happy for now. Probably going to work on exhaust and cam next.
