Well I finally got my project on the road (89 CRX Si w/ B18A1) and inspected, and on my way home from inspection it is throwing a CEL. I checked, and it is a code 43-Fuel Supply System. Since the car has been sitting with about a half tank of gas since January (and started for 15 minutes roughly every week) I took off the fuel filter (new in December 2006) to see if it was clogged/dirty. The gas was a little dark, but not too bad. So then I searched and found O2 sensor to be most people's problems. So I swapped O2 sensors with one from my DA (which was working 100% fine) but the CEL is still there.
It seems the CEL doesn't come on until the car has been running for a few minutes, and at higher speeds (~50 mph). This morning on the way to work, it stalled out on me and then was flooded when I tried to start it (took me a couple tries to get it started). Then on my way home from work CEL didn't come on until after 10 minutes of driving, when I was doing about 70 mph. Since I have only put about 100 miles on my CRX, I don't know how bad the gas consumption is, but it seems like it is burning gas quickly. Anybody have any ideas/tests to diagnose and fix this thing so I can enjoy my CRX without any CEL?
