and im kinda confused. i have a 1997 honda civic cx d16y7, but im planning on throwing a z6 head on it. im not sure if i should get an exhaust for the y7 or z6. as for the exhaust im looking for one thats not way too loud but a nice deep tone would be nice. i was looking at the tanabe super hyper medallion but it doesnt show me the size of the piping;.
p.s. lookimg for a street legal system.

are you looking for performance or sound sometimes you have to sacrifice a little of one to get the other.

 

Greddy SP2 is nice. deep tone and sounds good when vtec hits.

 

You need the exhaust that fits your car buddy, not your motor.

 

so i need to get the exhaust for a 97 civic instead of a 95, also am i going to run into any problems connecting the exhaust to the 95 z6 header?

OEM 07 si muffler.

2.25 inch inlet, and stock muffler-ness.
