Default Testing Waters: 98+ integra headlight with tsx retrofit.

I just want to know what you guys would pay for this.
It's a tsx clear lens retrofit, and black house headlights.

well some nice pics of the cutoff and craftsmanship of the retro would be nice, but id say you can probably get anywhere from 500-800 for it.
it all depends if theyre oem headlights or not. if theyre aftermarket black housing halo projectors, they would probably go for less.

very nice pics...the cutoff is a little misaligned but that can easily be fixed...its aimed a little high.
besides that, they look very good.
i would have bought them if i didnt send mine out 2 days ago (literally) to get them retrod by my friends down at customlightz...
if you would have posted this a week ago, i would have bought them...lol

anyway, good luck if you decide to sell them...if i were you, i wouldnt, cuz that light output is awesome...

why are u thinking about selling them? upgrading to a jdm front with hid???? that would be sick

haha yeah gota fix the aim.

i shouldve put them up a week ago, was contemplating it.

want to sell them so i can get after market ones with the clear lens. the stock ones got the lines on it that i dont like. nothing wrong with it, just think itll look cleaner with clear lens.

theres a very easy solution it that im actually doing right now...

im wetsanding the lines off the inside...mines came out wonderful...clearer than the clear lenses...

plus oem housing is always better than the cheap aftermarket ones to retro...
if youre worried about the lenses, just wetsand them and clear the lines out yourself...its super easy and it looks beautiful...

ill post some pics of them when im finishing them up...im actually doing this for other people, so im a little busy but ill post pics of mine when theyre completely done...with the retro and everything.

oem> aftermarket....the plastic housing is of much better quality and the adjustments are way better on an oem headlight.
something to think about ....

it turns out really good and its easy to do...just use an electric die grinder, set to soft, and use a 1200 grit sheet to start...once the lines are removed, you can then start using the 1500, 1800, 2000 grit, respectively or even more but this time sand it down by hand to make it smoother....once thats done, and everything is even and clear, just use 3m rubbing compound, followed by meguiars scratch x or any other scratch remover would work...

i also thought it was going to be really hard to do, and sanding by hand, especially to take out those 3 thick lines, is very hard.
but by using the electric grinder to take the 3 lines out, and then sanding the rest by hand to make it smooth, is a piece of cake...
once im done, im most likely gonna put up a diy on this, so that more people could see the process as it happens...
hope this helps..
