Going to the bank the other day I passed this little beasty. Well nothing beasty about it really but still. Its a '91 LX 5 spd wih 239,000 mi on the clock. Its got some rust and dents (big ones on the hood) but they want $900 obo. Anyone think I could talk 'em down to the $200 range? I need a car to drive while I work on the Rex.

 

Anything's possible..... if it runs well, $500. If not, offer $200 and keep haggling until you reach a price that suits both of you. Especially if it's been sitting there for a while.

 

i bought my first ef sedan for 900...except it only had 89k on the clock and 1 dent...there is no way that car even comes close...talk 'em way down

I don't know... people in Northern WI think that foreign cars are worth way more than they should be because everybody drives a GM product.

 

I'd go for 200 on that car.

Did the dents come from the hail storm we had about a month ago? make sure and check all the glass.

 

i'd pay 900 for it...knowing that ill fix everything on that car in like 2 weeks..but if u want talk'em down..but 200? maybe..

 

naw all the glass is fine. The dents on the hood are more of a squarish (?) dent more on the front side. Like it tried fitting under a truck but didnt make it haha. Idk how to explain it. And I hear ya wizco, people up here try sellin for way too much. Search on ebay and all the cheap stuff is a couple hundred miles away from us haha.

Well a few days before I had enough money gathered to talk to the person its sold. The best part (HA not really) is that now the dumb neighbor kid I dont like just happens to have a blue 4dr now... hmm I wonder who bought it?
