If you never drive in snow - like if "Bay area" in your location means San Francisco Bay or Tampa Bay, and not Green Bay or Massachusetts Bay - then you don't need all-season tires, so that knocks out the Avid. The ES100 is way better than those crappy Parada Spec 2 tires. So the ES100 is the best of the three tires you've listed. But you can do even better than the ES100.

What size are your wheels (14", 15", 16")?

In that size, I think you're better off with the Kumho SPT ($75/tire at the Tire Rack) rather than the ES100 ($86/tire). They are similar in performance on dry pavement, the SPT does better in rain, and it's less expensive too.
