my buddy was getting rid of his 94 accord ex which is the sohc vtec and i have the lx which is the non vtec engine

i was convincing him to swap and he had to consider the options. stilll hasnt replyied.

anyways i was wondering if i should swap just the engine or would i need to swap anything else see to me,the vtec is where its at.( he wants if for cheep thats why im doing it)

would i need anything else ? cuz if i were to get it i would rebuild it and keep upgrading or should i just keep my f22b2 motor which has nearly 200,000 miles

the difference between the vtec and non vtec f22s is like the difference between slow and slower. just keep your motor and boost it til it blows up. but to answer your question, your car isnt wired for vtec right now so yes youd have to do that, as far as bolting everything in its all the same.
