91 ex wagon manual....runs extremely well except for low idle when
parked, at light , stopsign etc...
oh yeah, idles rough at 1000 rpm...initially at startup around 1300 but quickly drops and stays at 1000....not smooth at all here.


did, i thought, thorough vacuum leak tests...nothing
restarted computer with removing fuse, neg. battery line
checked pcv, cleaned out butterfly/throttle etc...
new air filter
egr seems to be working but could not confirm 100%...same with map
sensor

Is the car throwing a CEL? If so what codes are you getting?

 

dont have that resource as of yet, can you suggest a decent low price unit to monitor my codes?... i have just done the non-computer basics and multimeter tests...thx again.
