Default Is this a RSX-S

I saw this car for sale an I was like I'm in love with it lol. But It says its a 5-Speed and I was like aren't the RSX-S all 6 Speed... What do you think of the price? I didn't get to see it inside because it was closed but it has 88k miles on it.

I have another picture where you can tell it says RSX-S in the back of the car... I'll see if i can post it up right now

it looks like one from the outside.

check the shift ****/guage cluster/intake manifold/cd player to be sure.

yeah looks like a type S, but i think the dealership made a mistake by saying its a 5-speed, the type s only comes in 6, make sure its the k20a2 if you decide to buy it.

hard to tell. the windshield says 5 speed which only the base came with but the rear has an s badge. go inside and take a look to see if its a 6 speed and the gauge has 9k on it.

just make sure its a 6 speed tranny, k20a2 motor, and the redline is by the 8 gram mark ... also i think the floor mats should say rsx type s on it too ... mine do but i got an 06 which are easier to tell between base and type s ... and thats a pretty low price so make sure there isnt any other problems with it if you decide you want it ... good luck

it's probably a dealership that doesn't know much about the car. you could probably get it from them for a steal

looks like one. another way to tell exterior wise is if there is a lower tie bar. the S came with one stock and the base didn't. the front brakes also look like S brakes because the caliper just clears he 16" wheel.

this may be a rumor ... but I heard cars come with a "VIN" ... a magical combination of letters and numbers once decoded tell you what the car is ... perhaps you may want to give that a shot
