hello,

i've been noticing a squeak coming from the car lately, it usually occurs when im starting the car, pressing the clutch in, the squeak comes when i press the clutch in to start the car and when going into first mainly. I can't really hear it other times, because the engine noise might be louder. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I tried lubing up the slave cylinder

but the squeak remains, ive also read about the throwout bearing? is this costly/hard to replace? the squeak just started happening recently.
car is a 98 hatch

tob won't sqeak, it will whine but won't squeak.

 

I also have a squeak in my clutch. When I push my clutch in slightly(not enough to disengage it) I can hear a pulsating squeak and can ever so slightly feel it in my clutch pedal. I'm not too worried about it, no problems have come about so far. It goes away when the clutch is disengaged/engaged, it just happens in the middle.
