Im going to swap in a d15b vtec in my 88 civic hatch. The old engine was a d15b1. The new engine comes with ecu,5spd manual tranny, and everything. Its seems pretty straight forward but I was wondering what problems you might run into generally speaking when doing an engine swap. It doesn't really seem that hard. I was going to maybe just get it in there and then tow it to the shop and have them do the wiring and such. Anywho, any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

 

i belive the only issue is doing a mpfi swap. but conact rywire.com and they can do the wiring for you.
