slow
my car is running hella slow i have stage two cams skunk2 and the entire valve train skunk2 i have 250 dry compression, headers,2 1/2 exhaust, type r pistons, along with a ecu that has a spoon chip. can you help me get out of the 14.8 1/4 mile runs? i also have skunk2 intake manifold and 70mil skunk2 throttle body. msd external coil and cap but i have old msd wires. when my vtec kicks in, it puters but i have new spark plug wires, maybe that is why i have no power do i need a ecu were the vtec kicks in later?

Try getting all that useless bolt-on bullshit tuned on a dyno
.
Your ECU is a ******* joke - get it re-chipped by somebody that actually does tuning.

not yet but do you think the ecu is no good the vtec kicks in at 4 and red line at 9.5 it is older but when i had a b16a stock it ran 14.4 now i have a built b16a2 and it runs slower do i need to tune an ecu just for the cams?

I'd say that's a REALLY GOOD waste of money.

If your ECU is chipped it's pretty downhill from here. You just bring it to a dyno tune, and they can tune it on the dyno and edit your basemap (assuming the chip is reburnable) and it'll run 100%.
Just bring your car to a dyno shop to get a quote, it'll probably be around 200 bux - but your car will run fine, they'll be able to find the best VTEC engagement point and edit your fuel & ignition tables & **** - you don't find the best VTEC engagement by dicking around with ur butt dyno and a VTEC controller - Numbers speak louder than that. Then it'll run great and at least you know the motor won't blow due to poor (usually street) tuning.

With the extent of your upgrades (cams, pistons, etc.), I would suggest that you get your car tuned, ON A DYNO, ASAP. These can all be good upgrades for an all-motor car, but you won't get any of that power without a good tune, ie: NOT a generic Spoon chipped pos ecu.
Get a stock ECU, and find a dynoing place that sells and tunes Hondata or something. That'd be the easiest route. Cheapest? I dunno...but you need that tune.
Any tuner should be able to chip and tune your car. Every ecu is capable of tuning once it's been chipped.
It's California, aren't there tuning shops on every corner?

look up midnight performance in rancho cordova. they do hondata and a few other ems'.
honestly, i dont know how you havent blown that engine up yet with that chip.
