Does the JDM radiator support uses the same welding spot location as of the USDM?
I have the jdm conversion and the welding points are the same for the chassis. but the radiator support itself is nowhere near as strong as the USDM so be careful driving her.
okay, thanks
I am gonna have a regular welder to weld in the support, so I need to exactly tell them to weld in a the exact spots...
also, what's the best way to remove the old USDM support ?

I would drill out the welds if you ever want to go back to a US front or if you want to sell the US front. Drilling out the welds is the same way junk yards take fronts off cars to sell them to bodyshops.
BTW: Killer deal on that "FS: JE pistons 9:1 for third gen RX-7, wrists and pins included...$150 shipped..brand new..." Almost makes me want to buy them! lol lol hahahaha

hahahah, yeah...I figure it'll put smileson a few peeps here and there..
so just drill it ? drill the spot where they weld in the USDM rad support ?
then how's the JDM rad support going to be mount if the chasis are full of holes from removing the USDM rad support ?

don't drill all the way. Just drill out the weld on the rad support without goin all the way through into the frame. A good grabbing drill bit will rip the weld out.

unless the lower section is damaged theres no need to remove it, just switch out the middle & top section and the headlight brackets. The sides and lower section are the exact same as the USDM.
