you can either go thru the wheel well on the passenger side....or just straight down from popping the hood...and the drivers side...you hvae to remove the coolant box thing and maybe the battery tie down bar.

What kind of bulb are you looking for?
When you start using colored bulbs, you start losing light output because it is filtering out useful light.

PIIA's have coating on them.
Coating will act like a shield. less light will go through the glass bulb hence the coating is shielding light from escaping for color purposes thus u get less lumens.
PIIA = crap
TRUE Silverstars = non-coated bulbs with whitish output
OEM = good bulbs

That's not worth the money at all. PIAA is so very overpriced for what it does. If you want more light, look for a nighthawk or a 9012 HiR bulb. The HiR bulb is a special type of infra-red reflecting bulb, they cost half as much as PIAAs and will probably offer more light without changing the wattage. You can get nighthawks at WalMart even, they're cheap. They'll both put out more (i didn't say better!) light.
If you want color, just go for an HID retrofit. You can get some HID color in a kit, but it will be kind of obnoxious.
Most coated bulbs are detrimental to your lighting.
Danielsternlighting.com has some good automotive lighting FAQ's that will explain why colored bulbs are garbage for the most part.
