Clunking sound- From Right Rear- Just put on springs.....?
Hey i recently got H&R lowering springs installed on my 96 accord lx. Ever since, i have been hearing a somewhat loud clunking sound every time i hit a bump or rough spot in the rond that causes my car to jump or bounce a little. I here a clunk clunk, coming from the right rear- any ideas? I checked the springs, and even bounced the right rear of my car to compress the springs but heard nothing.
Any help would be great!

It sounds like the spring isn't seated properly, jack up the car and see if the ends of the spring is sitting in the groves on the upper and lower of the strut. If it isn't you should be able to twist the spring around until it sits in the groves.
If the springs are seated properly, the coils might be hitting each other when they are compressed. What kind of shocks are you using and are they new?

For that kind of drop I would have replaced the shocks at the same time when you replaced the springs. Sooner or later the oem shocks will blow if they haven't blown already.

yup
yup
They will work.
Personally I would not since the front is dropped 1.75.
I have KYB AGX on my H&R.
Not recommended, but so far so good.
