when you want to wire the rear speakers to your hatch back how would i run the wires and what are the wire colors from the factory harness. thanks

 

left rear:

blue/yellow=+
grey/white= -


right rear:

red/yellow=+
brown/white=-


the rears come prewired so you'll have to stick your hand down and feel around to find the speaker harness.

 

okay there is two red and yellow wires . there is one all red with a yellow stripe and then there is all yellow wire with a red stripe . same goes for brown and with white and grey with white?

 

first color is the solid the second color is the stripe.

left rear:

blue is solid, yellow is the stripe etc...


as far as the yellow wire with red stripe, not sure whats going on there?

 

if you have aftermarket speakers i can show you how to test which wire is + / - ? this is done by tapping the lead on the speaker and seeing which way the speaker "pops"

 

okay thanks i going to try it to see . and i think that the yellow with red stripe might be 12v
