is there any difference between the two as far rear suspension is?
my friend has a rear disk conversion complete but of the jdm eg9 would it fit?

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't. You'll have to use your stock lca's though seeing as how the ej1 shock fits over the lca and not in it. Probably will have to get e-brake cables too. Don't quote me on it though.
