Default Fuel Tuning Questions

Im looking to properly tune my fuel .. and have been doing some research ..

I have:

rc 310 inject
aem fuel rail
aem fpr
fp gauge
holley fuel pump

now ive been reading several threads on... Air/Fuel gauges ... the Apexi VFAC and SAFC and Hondata ..

couple questions:

1) If i get a Apexi VFAC/SAFC do i still need a A/F gauge to properly tune ?

2) If the VFAC and SAFC are pretty much the same except VFAC has Vtec xover
i have nonvtec... from a reselling/upgrading standpoint ... shouldnt i just get the vfac ??

3) if i got the hondata stage 2 would i still need a A/F gauge ?

hondata is somewhat attractive because i wouldnt mind having the abilty to adjust my shiftpoints/redline as well

any input is welcome fellas ..thanks

you need a wideband O2 hookup and a dyno to tune

Hondata is a form of standalone and is much better then using an AFC if your funds allow for it go with the hondata system. If your on a ultra tight budget like me an AFC will do you better then nothing.

If you are going to buy an a/f PLEASE do yourself a favor and get the greddy a/f its FAR more usefull for tuning... autometer is pretty much useless for tuning. But if you have access to a dyno thats the BEST bet cause buying your own wideband cost nearly as much as hondata

ok so ... if i get a VAFC/SAFC/Hondata to manipulate and tune ... i would still need a Air Fuel Gauge to make the correct adjustments ? these devices dont give me a Air/Fuel Ratio reading ? ??

never heard of the Wideband 02 ... but i am not a rich kid either... i just want to buy something to tune my fuel that is quality..accurate.. and somewhat economical .. dont want all the snazzy gauges if i really dont need them you know ?
