From what i understand CHP has more control over the stolen car world then regular PD does (with exception of sheriff). If a car was stolen and the serial happened to be recorded then i believe CHP will have this info. But if you bring the car to them they will ask to hold it for an extensive search or something like that.
Not to jack your thread but I just picked up a JDM B18C1. It doesn't have a the crank sensor thing like OBD2 motors here in the US. I want to do that ecu wire mod posted on FF squad. Will the referee check the ECU for mods?
