depends on how much ya wanna spend and what youre aiming at. street comfort, auto-x, drag.? i preferred to get shocks the cheapest way for comfort, and the tokico blues hadnt let me down yet. got them on ground controls. my friend has the koni yellows, and it handles about 2x better. putting in my buddy's agx's this weekend, so if ya want, PM me and i'll tell you wussup. all w/ ground controls except the yellows. those are w/ progressive springs.
you can use your stock shocks with ground controls with no problems, but keep in mind your stock shocks will blow out in about a year. So i see it this way if your going to take apart your suspension to put in your ground controls you might as well buy shocks too so you save yourself time later when youhave to upgrade your shocks. In other words why take apart your suspension twice when you only have to do it once
exactly!!
I would save up and do both the GC and Koni's at once.. as either way you save.. if your doing it yourself.. you save yourself the time/labor of taking your whole suspension apart twice (your basically doing the same thing twice if you replace it in 2 steps).. and if your paying a shop to do it. your saving yourself time (waiting for the car to get done) and money (labor) if you do the springs/coil overs and shocks at the same time..
