i have a 94 eg hatch with a skunk2 megaflow exhaust and i was wondering if it was normal for the resonator it sit bout 2 1/2 inches from the road... i have springs now and want to upgrade to full-coilovers and slam it... but scared to...


btw my car is loud already so i dont want to just loose it if its possible...

 

It's possible a section of your exhaust was assembled upside-down. It's a common mix up with the aftermarket exhaust systems. If that's the case, try reversing the section, and you may fix your problem.

Otherwise, you can take it to an exhaust shop and tell them to adjust the hangers so the system sits as tucked as possible to the car's body.

 

ive tryed the up side down and thats not it...

thanks ill go by a muffler shop and see if they can tuck it

 

If you do, make sure you tell them not to tuck it too much, or you'll hear terrible vibrations from the exhaust piping hitting your car.
