Default 91 accord drive belts replacement

I'm trying to replace the alternator and power steering pulleys. i'm having trouble loosening the tension in the belts enought to get them off. I've loosened the pivot bolts and adjustment bolts too but neither moves enough. The altenator doesnt even move at all. It looks like the alternator would move if I removed the pivot bolt but I can't because of the power steering pulley.

I know this shouldnt be this difficult. can you help me out?

Thankz

You do know there are long threaded 10mm bolts that create the tension/slack,look under the P/S pump, and in front of the Alt

yeah but either the alternator or the p/s pump do not move enough for me to get the belts off.

Anyway, I have the belts off now but I can't get them back on! Are there any tricks? There isnt enough movement for me to get enough slack to get the belts on. and I know your not suppose to pry them on. what do I do?

Try turning the adjustment bolts out more.

they are completely off! I still dont have enough movement to get the belts on. I'm supposed to then put the belts on the crank pulley last and slowly turn that to get the belts on right?

i just completed this on a 91 accord actually....on top of loosening the front adjuster bolt
theres a 12mm bolt under the power steering belt spindle that you have to loosen(on the right side, next to the wheel well) and the power steering pump should pivot down.....this is also true for the alternator

Some mental midget turned the backside[head] of the tension retaining nuts and put the tabs into the slots
