Default 4gen radiator for non vs vtec

I have a 92 prelude s and that i will be swaping the h22. and i need a new radiator so will i be buying a non vtec because the frame is a non vtec model or the vtec model?
What's the differents between the two?

Are you sure the core isn't smaller too? The guy who I got my radiator from said the core sizes were different as well. If your swappin a VTEC motor then just get a VTEC model radiator. Should only cost a couple bucks more.

It could be...not sure about that one.

Well regardless the frame of the car shouldn't matter all. So just spend a few bucks more and get a VTEC on. I believe I had to pay like 10, 15 bucks more. Money well spend for peace of mind.

Actually the H23 has a larger core

My car had the origional H22 radiator and fan setup swaped with an H23 setup. It took me alittle while to get the right radiator on. H23 was about 1-2 inches wider. Maybe alittle taller, but thats questionable.

I work at a Napa, I have an S model that I will be swapping soon, and have checked on this in my system, it lists the S, and Vtec as having the same radiator, but the Si, with the H23 is not the same.

i just bought a prelude s radiator and it is thicker than my vtec. it a little over 1" thick....my vtec was 5/8" thick. other dimensions are the same..
