Default ECU Help!!

My brother just got a 94 civic 1.5L (16 valve) Does anyone know what the number is for that engine?? Also it's missing the ECU can anyone tell me which one it needs?? I was also wondering is it worth getting an ECU that's chipped, is there a noticeable difference in HP ?? PLEASE help!

The engine code should be a D15B7, and if its non-vtec (most likely) the ECU should be a PO6. But you can get a chipped P06 from Phearable.net, but not worth the money for the hp gain.
