** 2005 Accord - the key is hot when i pull out

I have a 2005 accord 4cyl...

The metal part of the key is always hot when i pull it out. Not hot enough to burn, but definitely wouldn't be classified as "warm".....

anybody heard of this?

Mine does the same thing, no idea why.... but this is only after I've been driving for an extended period of time. Hell the little opening where my shift boot isn't all the way flush gets real hot after a full boost run.
