Default headlights going off and on

yeah i've been driving the past couple of weeks and i realized that my headlights on my 01 civic ex at night goes off for 2-3 seconds and then comes back on once in a while ....sometimes when i hit a little bump on the streets it'll die for a second or two then comes back on....just the other night i drove on the highway, my lights we going off and on every 20 minutes...kinda scares me sometimes at night especially i might get pul over one day for that by the cops..hahah...could there be something wrong with the wiring or something...? i'm not too good at car stuff only a newbie at cars..lol...

Does it do the same thing when the high beams are on? If not, check this: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1974402

There is a headlight switch recall on certain vehicles. Contact your local dealership and ask them to run a VIN status to see if your vehicle qualifies. I'm assuming everything is stock

There is a particular wire that wasnt crimped properly at the factory. It overheats and can cause a bad connection. The purpose of the recall is to fix that wire.
