you need to call a new dealership. If you go down there with your reg and driver l. They will get you the key code. Opp you have the emobe right.
Is the $500 the cost for new keys and all new locks all around? Because my Honda dealer (which charges like 60% over list prices
) charged me $15 to cut a key from the VIN. They just needed my registration and driver's license.

my sister had the same proplem as you and all she did was take her registration in and charged her $40 for two sets of keys...i dont know about 500 for new keys
anyone who knows their **** knows it costs what it does for 5th gens to change the immobilzer system ( have that **** reflashed / replaced with new master key then new set of keys cut and all programmed).

No....I'm implying that you are the only person who doesn't know their **** in this thread.
The dealership did not spit a BS price to shoot me out the dealership buddy......through the stealership replacing / reflashing the immobilzer with a new master key then reproggamming and cutting door and igntion keys is going to always be north of 500 at least all said and done ( seeing you dont do the installation yourself, parts alone or just south of 5 bills)

It should not be that much, 2-300 at the most. The key at the cyclinder is the same key for the door so they do not have to re-key the car. They have the vin number. So you need one key and reprograming. I would rather have a alarm then that shyty emobe.
