I just want to let you guys know that SOLFOOD is a BAD SELLER in my OPINION. I bought a CABLE TRANNY that he claimed to be " A B16 CABLE TRANNY" and after I got my motor built I drove the car and put the transmission in for the first time and what do you know... I realize it's an ls transmission. I tried contacting SOLFOOD by CELL PHONE, PM, and by the looks of it he doesn't even care because he doesnt return my phone calls or pm's. I tried to work something out with him but nothing is getting RESOLVED. Im just letting you guys know so that you guys could watch out for this GUY. SOLFOOD
.
I bought the tranny from HIM almost a year ago BUT I have been trying to contact HIM since FEBUARY. There was no way I could have checked if it was a real B16 TRANNY, cuz how was I gonna do it? I was posting in every thread he made to call him OUT and his SO CALLED BROTHER told me that he had an EMERGENCY EXIT so I waited... and SOLFOOD FINALLY sent me a message and told me that it couldnt of had been an ls tranny and I responded and it ende up being one... so he stated, "CALL ME AND WE WILL WORK SOMEHING OUT". So I have been trying to call him about 6 times now, I left about 4 voicemails. This wasnt the onlything I bought from him iv'e bought a bare ls block with a few extras and the crank that he gave me with that ls block wasnt the right crank, He had gave me a B16 crank with it, But im not worried about that I just want to resolve the TRANSMISSION ISSUE
Ps. This SolFood...

i dont really know whats going on, but i have dealt with him n he seems to be pretty legit to me, but that was only once or twice i dont know him personally but yeah hope he gets this **** solved!.... bump n GL
I bought sa true JDM center console for my hatch from him, he was pretty legit and up front as far as it mught not fit in a LHD car(I made it work though with a little modification to the frame of it
)
EDIT: what I'm saying is, in my dealing with him he was very honest and I'm sure he'll take care of the mix-up

From what the thread you posted says, it looks like you bought it a year ago. You should have checked it when you bought it or when you got home, instead of waiting a year to realize it was the wrong tranny

How was I suppose to check it if at that time I was gathering parts to send my motor to get built and by the time I recieved the motor and finished up all the DPFI to MPFI wiring it had been a while already. The reason I didn't think he was gonna fraud me like that was because I had bought alot of stuff from him already. By the way how was I supposed to identify the transmission to check if it was a real B16 TRANNY the sticker that was on their was scratched and I told him about it and he said, "DONT WORRY MAN IT'S A B16 TRANNY FOR SURE, IF ITS NOT A J1 ITS A S1 B16 TRANNY" so I took his word for it.

True. wont know until you drive it or crack it open, and count the diff teeth. I'm always sketchy about buying used trannies with no label or stamp.
hope everything works out.
