candy apple red?
there isn't a code for candy apple red. HOK is the only one i know that makes it.
there are some colors that look similar, but they just dont have the depth that a candy has.
the way you use it is you first lay down a basecoat of your choice. the base color determines what the final color will be. for the best look i would use gold or silver for a base but it has to be absolutly perfect. no botchyness, streaks or anything. the candy will amplify your mistakes. after your base is down you lay down 2-3 coats of your candy and clear the bitch. it's pretty much the same as a tri-stage job.
if your not an experienced painter, dont even waste your time or money. the HOK candy red for just the candy, reducer and hardener was about $900. thats not including primer, basecoat or clearcoat.
