So, first the dealership is willing to let you take it home without a motorcycle license, then they lie to you about your insurance - how else are they screwing you? So much for that great deal... then again, its not their job to know the rules, they're just trying to make a profit.

Did you even look at the insurance cost before you bought the bike?

state farm is hot or cold. They either give you an amazing rate, or a shitastic rate. When i first signed up with statefarm they gave me like a 50/mo rate for full coverage. Then they dug a little deeper and found a 10 over ticket from 2.5 years ago and they sky rocketed my rate to a couple thousand a year. They told me that in a few months when the ticket went off my record they would lower the rates again, but i decided i didn't need a moody insurance company, and went progressive.
state farm was the cheapest for me
05 636 45 liability 105 full coverage
I was 18 with 4 points and 2 speeding tickets though. so I think that it was a good price.

Start Farm was $48 a month for a 01 F4i
Kinda shoulda looked into this before buying the bike.
Almost all companies you finance a bike through require full coverage because the bike is being but up as collateral

How old are you? You should try AAA, if you have your car insured under them you can get a pretty good discount on both your car and bike premiums.

I don't know a single finance company that will give you a substantial loan for a bike/car w/o full coverage.

I know that if you finance from Suzuki you don't need it. They approve you for the credit card not the bike. You just bike the bike with the card.
