V6 CL's ECU same as any Accords?

My buddy has a '01 Acura CL V6 3.2, It has VTEC and he wants to put on a VTEC controller, possibly the APEXi VAFC2. Is it possible to do so and what pins/ plugs would they be spliced with. Dose anyone have an Idea of what ECU it runs and is it shared by any other Hondas (Accords?) Thanks-
