I'm still troubleshooting getting my damn IAB working in my hybrid. I'm pretty confident about the wiring (but not 100%) I'm following the Helms manual process, and when I disconnect the #13 vacuum hose, there is no vacuum.



So then I went on the other side to try to find the #12 hose like it says to do, and all I can see is this. When I disconnected "A", there was vacuum.



Question is, what the hell is the thing in the picture? It looks like both of the tubes lead into the manifold. I can't find any diagram in my manual about what these are. Somebody help me out with this, thanks.

The thing in the picture is a pcv valve for crank case ventalation.......Mike

 

i second what he said. I'd check your wiring again.....or MAYBE you dont have an ECU capable of controlling the IAB's.

 

Do you have the large vacuum revoivor hooked up properly? Big black plastic tank under the manifold?

 

i dont think the send runner thing is electronically controled..just vacuum hoses

Not exactly sure. It's such a bitch trying to even see anything underneath the manifold.

Can someone tell me where the IAB vacuum tank and IAB check valve is? Picture if you can even see it would be great.
