Default Does recent Dead Battery cause trouble with the DVD player?

Recently the car battery died. When the battery was recharged, we needed to enter passwords for the Stereo system and the Navigation system to get them to work. Now we've noticed that the DVD player will not do anything. Apparently there is a disc in the player, but it will not play or eject. Can you suggest anything that we may be able to do to correct this... unfortunately, I'm leaving in the AM for a LONG drive.
Thanks!!
