Default worth getting cams, valves and valve springs?

i'm rebuilding my 98 itr motor. with jdm itr pistons. everything is at the machine shop just wondering if it's worth the money for cams, vavles, springs, retainers? do cams do much on itr's? this is gonna be my daily driver, but i'm looking for some extra power. if it is worth it what cams should i look at. i've been looking at skunk2 pro 1's or 2's, just not sure if they do much for for the itr. thanks

i've been reading the itr forums for a while and haven't came across much. honda-techs search engine sucks 90% of the time. i've heard people talk about m22's but never heard much except they are good cams, or where to find them.

If you're looking at M22X's PM Aquafina or Clean_rice...... they're always more than helpful to let you know if anything in the rocket line is optimal for you, and if it isn't then they'll always point you in the correct direction.

Pro 1's are going to be a bit overkill for you, the normal Stage 2's i'm sure would be more suited for your application.

you should look in the all motor section. most of us here aren't really looking to make big power out of our engines since we'd rather save the money for new tires/pads/and track day fees.

If you go with RM, the M22X would work best for you.
