i juss went last weekend to the california speedway. i think my motor's dyin. i ran a 17.1 and my motor is in pretty bad shape. how did everyone else do?

 

Many of us are capable of high-15s with our NA F22 & F23 motors. Misa probably a low-15 (likely in the high-14s if you got your car tuned)... Now the F22/23 motor with other additives or with a H22 replacement, your options improve significantly...

 

if i can get a vafc or get the damed hondata tuned i will be curious enough to see whats up, i guess you wertent to thrilled with the ride i gave yu0 eh john ?

No, your car is quicker, mainly b/c of your lighter weight. However, once you even your A/F out to a stoic mixture, and set the VTEC xover at our proven rpm of 3500, you'll be much happier.

damn....15+ stock? wtf is wrong with mah ride! haha well...i have dc headers, aem CAI, AEM pulleys and cam gear (set at +2). thats about it and its auto. i don't think i should of ran that bad. wat do u guys think? this car's been pissin da **** out of me.

 

The automatic's gonna hurt the performance. How many miles does the car have?

 

it has 87k. the thing is i let mah dumbass friend did my install and he kinda messed up everything else on my ride. like he fried mah ECU and i think it messed up mah gas milage also cuz i'm only gettin 250 and less a full tank. my front suspension is making a really loud knocking sound. i had it checked out the guy fixed it, but it came back. i don't get it. my fault for lettin mah friend touch mah car.

 

There's the majority of you problem right there. What rim / tire combo are you using?

 

ummm....i had some donuts on the front and 17s on the back. i'm gonna take it to a garage tomorrow where it was being fixed and see wat he can tell me. i'll keep you guys posted.

ummm....yea. i guess dey were oem. came off mah friends 98 accord 4 door. (hubbies) blackies or watever you wanna call dem. but i don't think they were da problem. 17.1 is really off wat everyone else is gettin. also weird that i beat 2 other accords der. one was a 98 accord and a 96 accord. both had da 4 cyl vtec. odd isn't it?

well, you do probably have one of the heaviest 5th gen accords, if not the heaviest...then you got that non-vtecha engine....which suxos....then dat der slushibox trannymission....=slow *** accord...
