Hi, Im just curoius, I sprayed my side moulding with a single stage paint in the custom mixed spray bomb cans. I was going to do my side skirts as well and have a couple questions. I wanted them to add an elastisizer, and they said you couldnt do that in a can, so I'll have to beleive them. Will this be an issue on the skirts? Also for those of you that have done yoru skirts, do you spray the area that will be underneath the car, or did you just mask that area and spray tthe exposed surfaces? Thanks.

Thanks. I was thinking there wouldnt be any flex down there, but thought Id ask. Also, you say prep the whole skirt, are you suggesting painting the section thats hidden under the car as well? Seems like a waste of paint. I'd like to see type r skirts to see if theyre painted under the car as well. I figure it'd take some major abuse from stones snow etcc. under there. thoughts?
you dont need any flex additive...besides most flex additives only last between 2-3 days so the paint will flex while your installing the bumpers, sides...etc, just clean them really good, and i also recommend spray them with a thin coat of Bulldog plastic adhesion promoter. Then spray with paint...should turn out pretty good

Thanks guys, I'm going to go through with it. I've got Friday off and want a project to clear my head. I've got a decent primer that worked well on my side mouldings, so we'll see where that goes. Thanks for the advice. Ryan
