** Wheel Offset Question **
Hey guys
I just wanted to know how bad it would be if I went with a 15"x7.5 4x100 35+ offset wheel on a 97 Honda Civic w/ Neuspeed Race Springs + Koni Red Shocks.
Is my wheel clearance going to be that much of an issue?
Thanks in Advance

The clearance of the wheel depends not only on the offset, but also on the wheel width, which you omitted. Care to share?
(It also depends on tire size, but I assume you would be using the best sizes for your car, either 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.)

Bad idea! I wouldn't recommend using wheels that wide; your tires are going to look overly stretched and the lips of your rims are going to be really susceptible to curbing damage.. For 195/55-15 or 205/50-15, stick with 15x6 or 15x6.5. If you're ONLY using the Azenis, you could go with 15x7.
factory offset is +45 If I remember correctly...
so with a +35 you move the wheel out almost a 1/2 inch...now you are adding another 2" to the width (based on 14x5.5 steelies) so the outer edge is going to be another 1" out (1.5" total)..... I would say on a slammed car you are going to have issues

I'm sure you won't have any issues. The wheel should come pretty flush with the fender. The tire will only be slightly pulled and will look good. As for rubbing, if it is a problem, rent a fender roller and roll the lips .

I run 16x7 35mm offset. Clears with room to spare
The deciding factor will be how low you are and fender pulling/rolling. It's possible but you have to think about:

Correct this question is within regards to a 97 Civic Hatchback. I just don't want to get wheels shipped to me with that offset and they not fit. Tough tough decision.

Hey dude, Thank you for posting pictures, it helps to give me a better understand what 35+ offset looks like a civic. What size tire are you running?

Is having stretched tires a bad thing? I know it isn't recommend, but.
