Default 1988-1989 Honda Prelude...

Hello everyone my name is Richard Moreton and I am new to these forums. A couple of years ago my Uncle(23) had killed himself with no clue as to why he did it or nothing...

He had a 1988-1989 Honda Prelude it doesn't run but he was working on getting it running, but now he can't and I have decided I wanted to have it everyone was okay with and now I am stuck with a few problems... It won't start at all, my dad and I have gone through a bunch of stuff and changed them out for new parts(Crankshaft positioning sensor,Fuses,New Battery and even a new ECU,ect) but nothing helped we had spark, fuel, power and everything... When we tried to read the LED flashes on the ECU we noticed it wasn't flashing nothing at all so we're guessing from where it has sat so long maybe an animal got up in there and chewed through a few wires? If that is even possible...

So my question is... How would I remove the passenger side fender? Dad isn't going to be home for awhile and I wanted to remove it to have a look at the wiring if anyone thinks this will help.

But any information would be great, Richard.

The fender is just bolts holding it on...pretty easy.

Another thing I should mention becuae you have a 3rd gen is check out http://www.preludepower.com. It is the best 3rd gen resource by far

Alright thanks, now the bolts for the fender, will I have to take off the sideskirt too to get to any bolts?

Also, would there be any other reason as to why the car wouldn't start or flash the LEDs on ECU? I forgot to mention the engine had been rebuilt. No by my uncle but by the person he had gotten it from. Would anything in there cause the problem?

Thanks, Richard.
