search my friend
there are many explanations of all different header/exhaust combos out there

there isn't a "best" header/exhaust

do you want the best sound?
best performance?
best bang for buck (budget)?
the quietest?
different people have different taste

start here if your picky about sound/style

I had the Skunk2 on my 05 and it started to melt my lip so I returned it, but sound and gain was awsome.

With a header the Skunk2 would be way to loud for me though.

Greddy Evo2 sounds real good and with a header it would be even better with how bassie it is.

try looking into the greddy evo2/sp2, fujitsubo powergetter, apex n1
those are some of the most popular

i have the evo2 with dcrh combo
its nice and i recommend it, but i'm going to put my stock exhaust back on

ive got an hks hi power ... sounds great ... nice performance but burnt lip and high price ... the mugen and toda exhaust are kinda quiet too but not too much deep sound ... mugen is ok price but toda is a bit too much ... although neither burn the lip cause the tip goes past the lip and the toda faces downwards ...

there is also the option of buying custom exhaust piping and using your stock tip but never heard of anyone doing it ... suggest you never go open head though ... burnt out my cat in only 5 hrs cause i high drove it while i was getting it put on ... long story of why i didnt put it on right away dont ask ... it sounded loud but smooth for some reason ... burnt out the cat pretty bad and my friend said i was shooting out fire on the highway so avoid it at ...

good luck in finding what you like check out these sites ...

, wow, i'm shocked dude! You know me and you agree on things on these threads, but this sounds like crazy talk to me, but as long as you're happy I guess.

I have a 32" Sharp Aquos 1080p, XBox360 is sick on it.

its currently on a friend's car now because he's trying it out before he buys it
haven't had it long (rev4ever knows it hasn't been that long)
i noticed that there are some scratches on the midpipe and a ding about the size of a quarter (not deep though) when i took it off

i don't plan on shipping it, although it will be my last resort

Installed a Tanabe Medallion Toruing exhaust on my friends '06 Type S a few months ago. Fitment was perfect, it has a bit more of an agressive tone, but still quiet, and looks really clean.
