ok guys I am really stumped on whats going on with my crx its a 91 with the D15b2 it starts up nicely i just replaced the alternator yesterday and the fuse box under the hood( because of the ELD) but when the car is running my tach. temprature and gas gauge freak out when ever i go over 4000 rpms if the headlights are turned on the cars idle will drop and if i attempt to turn the high beams on the car will die. The Ecu is a PM5 the LED blinks 20 times then pauses and does it again so im assuming thats a code 20. any one got any ideas as to what it is let me know

 

Bad ground ? Did you do any work on it before it threw the code 20 ?

 

well before all this started happening a friend of mine swapped a new dash into the car and ever since then its been tweaking out im starting to think it was a ground he didnt hook back up or something

 

There is a ground under the dash, near the cluster. Make sure he hooked it up.

ok got it fixed guys it was the ground under the dash that hooks to the steering column and the ground wire from the battery to the body
