Default Click/crunch sounds from front brakes

Wondering if anyone ran into this before, Im getting a click/crunching sound 50% of the time when hitting the brakes, seems to stop fine. Any idea what it could be? 100% sure its brakes also, could one pad be loose making the sound?

Yes 100%, Its not a axel type of sound more like clunk when hitting brake, feels like the pad is shifting around almost. Think Im just going to do te front brakes this week and hope that was one of the issues

Changing brake pads, installing SS brake lines and putting in new fluid. Brake is locking up "wont release"all the time, if this doesnt work new calibers

check to see if the little metal tabs are in there.

hard to imagine they came off if you havent touched them. but they often fall out when working on brakes.

also just check for loose bolts. and then checkfor loose balljoints after that. do a standard "wheel bearing test" by grabbing the wheel and shaking in all different directions. this action diagnoses bad balljoints more than any bad wheel bearing....
