How to remove the trunk torsion bars
I have a carbon fiber trunk and now the trunk opens at 1000000 miles per hour. Most likely this will ruin the carbon fiber, so i'm looking at alternative methods to opening the trunk...

you have to pry them off by using a big screw driver or something of that nature to twist them out of the crattle they are in. try keeping one on to see if that works better, im sure that will slow it down a bit plus it will keep it up for you.
theres some special tool to remove them, but all i can say is be very careful, and i would seriously wear protective goggles, just in case it slips, ud ont want to lose an eye or soemthing.
Here's how I did mine:

I found that one damper was barely enough for the CF trunk alone, but when I attached the lisence plate panel and the plate itself and the lights it was too heavy for just one damper, so you should need one on each side.
