i sure could use some help with my 86 carb'd prelude
i had carb issues soon after buying the car about 6 weeks ago and had to pull the carbs to clean the float bowls....i've found bits and pieces of info about stripping all those vac lines and i did remove them and plug'd the vac ports on the carbs and intake...
i'm unsure how the vac advance on the dizzy gets connected to a vac source because of the 2 ports...
after doing the above, i started the car a few times and it idled at a steady 2500 rpm's then decided it wouldn't start at all without a shot of ether...now it's like it's not getting gas...i also don't know what needs to be done with the Air Vent Cut-off Solenoids...should they be plug'd in and how are they powered?
it's been a month since i started this project and would love to get the car back on the road but i'm stuck and can't find any sources for de-vaccing the carb'd prelude
