ok plan on doing a diy itb as a side project to see if it turns out good

i got a friend that has a kawa. zx7r itb (plan on geting it if works)
my friend told me that its carbrated not fuel injected

my question
is can i still use it to weld onto my b16a2 intake manifold flang even though its carbrated????
need to know ASAP before he trashes it

 

I know in the V8 world people have turned carburators into throttle bodies, but I'd imagine it would be much easier to just get a fuel injected setup in the first place.

yea i got my GSXR1000's for 150 shipped and i sold the injectors, wiring and airfilter off it for 50 bucks.

as for the TPS, you can custom make a bracket for it. you will still need to adjust it accordingly.
